Launch of Our New Utilities Induction

May 17, 2026

Provectus has launched a new utilities induction programme designed to strengthen awareness, improve planning, and reinforce safe working practices around underground and overhead services across our projects.

Utilities remain one of the most significant risks within enabling works and ground operations. The new induction has been developed to ensure all personnel understand the importance of service identification, verification, permit controls, and safe excavation practices before works begin on site.

The programme supports our wider commitment to proactive risk management and forms part of our ongoing focus on improving standards across enabling works, remediation, earthworks, and drainage operations.

Key areas covered within the induction include:

  • Utility risk awareness and planning
  • Permit to break ground procedures
  • Service detection and verification processes
  • Safe excavation and exclusion controls
  • Coordination between site teams and subcontractors
  • Escalation and reporting procedures

The launch reflects our belief that effective utility management starts long before excavation begins. By improving understanding and consistency across our teams, we continue to reduce risk, strengthen delivery, and maintain safe, controlled operations on site.

This initiative forms part of the wider Provectus commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and advancing safety across all areas of the business.
